Moreover, the service offers a 14–day trial where you can download two audiobooks completely free. The reason Soundsgood.com came in number three is they don’t offer telephone support and the site is slightly harder to use.

Each audiobook has a sample so you can hear a portion of the book. The site also supports customer reviews; however, we found many of the books didn’t have a single review.

In order to download audiobooks, you have to download an application called OverDrive Media Console first. Though this takes a little more time, this console is a great tool to download and organize audiobooks, burn them to a CD or move them to a portable device. Our experience with OverDrive Media Console was positive. We moved an audiobook to a portable device and burned it to a CD—the application worked perfectly.
